Andy Glyde

Andy Glyde has extensive experience in operations, risk management, and continuous improvement, currently serving as Project Lead in Operations and Maintenance at Canal & River Trust since January 2005. Andy has successfully implemented a Trust-wide continuous improvement toolkit and established a capable team to promote lean thinking. Previous roles include Internal Audit & Risk Manager, responsible for risk management and governance, as well as Governance, Assurance and Risk Manager, overseeing data protection and business continuity. Andy's earlier career includes significant auditing roles at Equifax Plc and Deloitte & Touche, where responsibilities encompassed operational audits, statutory accounts preparation, and risk management. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol and the FCA designation from ICAEW.
