Matthew Ball is an experienced Chief Analyst at Canalys, a position held since January 2004, where responsibilities include providing market trends and competitive insights for major global vendors in cloud, cybersecurity, networking, servers, and storage. Previously, Matthew served as Principal Analyst, directing research efforts on cloud infrastructure services and cybersecurity, and as Director of Enterprise Services, overseeing Canalys' enterprise division and managing research agendas across multiple international offices. Matthew's early career includes roles as Senior Analyst and Research Analyst at Canalys and MZA, respectively, following a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Birmingham.
