Harsh Chinivala, CFA, RFRA has a wealth of work experience. Harsh began their career in 2010 as a Research Associate (cement & steel) at Alchemy Stock Broking Pvt Ltd. In this role, they maintained and developed detailed financial models and industry databases, supported in generating industry and company specific research reports and presentations, and assisted with coordinating quarterly reporting initiatives. In 2011, they moved to Maverick Equities as a Senior Analyst. In 2014, they joined Anvil Shares & Stock Broking Pvt Ltd. as an Associate Vice President HNI Sales, where they managed client portfolios with a team of portfolio managers and research analysts using value investment philosophy, and saw AUM rise from C$ 0.5 MN to C$ 4.5 MN in year-6. In 2020, they joined Scotiabank as a Financial Advisor Trainee, Investment & Retirement Planner, Senior Financial Advisor, and Financial Advisor. In this role, they were responsible for understanding unique customer profiles, constituting a specific agenda and drafting advice supported by reports, discovering key customer needs and goals, and using a holistic approach to develop a comprehensive plan to help customers meet their financial goals. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Canalyst as an Equity Research Associate.

Harsh Chinivala holds a CFA Charter holder from CFA Institute, which they obtained in 2012. Harsh also holds a Master of Commerce from University of Mumbai, which they obtained in 2008. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom from University of Mumbai in 2006. Harsh also holds a Canadian Securities Course from Canadian Securities Institute, which they obtained in December 2021 and a Value Investing: Making Intelligent Investment Decisions from Emeritus, which they obtained in September 2021. Theireducational background began at New Era School from 1990 to 2000.
