Makayla Horne

Makayla Horne is currently employed as a Spanish Teacher at Canandaigua City School District since September 2023, following a role as a Per Diem Substitute Teacher at the same district from August 2022 to May 2023. Makayla gained additional experience as a Student Teacher during this time. Prior to these positions, Makayla served as a Per Diem Substitute Teacher at Churchville-Chili Senior High School from December 2021 to May 2023 and completed a Student Teacher role at Livonia Public Schools from October 2022 to December 2022. Makayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Adolescence Education from SUNY Geneseo, obtained in 2023, and earned an Advanced Regents Diploma from Churchville-Chili Senior High School in 2019.
