Maria João Pereira

Maria João Pereira is a highly experienced professional in the pharmaceutical field, currently serving as Responsável Estudos de Estabilidade at CANAPAC LDA since June 2025. Prior to this role, Maria held the position of Stability Program Lead at Tilray Brands, Inc. from September 2023 to May 2025, and spent nearly seven years at Bluepharma as an Analytical Data Reviewer/Supervisor in the Stability Laboratory, where responsibilities included the review and approval of analytical data, stability report management, and training of new co-workers. Maria's earlier experience includes significant roles at the Faculty of Farmacy, University of Coimbra, where contributions were made as a member of the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences self-evaluation commission and as a member of the Pedagogic Council. A background in quality assurance and regulatory affairs is also demonstrated through various trainee positions at organizations such as Laboratorios Basi and OWLPHARMA. Maria holds an Integrated Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra, earned between 2011 and 2016.
