Jeffrey Reitman

Prior to joining Canapi, Jeffrey Reitman was a Principal at Nyca Partners, another fintech-focused venture capital firm. While at Nyca, Jeffrey primarily spent his time working on investments in the alternative credit, digital advice and financial infrastructure sectors. He made several investments into promising companies such as Axioma (exited), Blend, Built, LeapYear, Nova, Roofstock, and True Accord.

Before Nyca, Jeffrey worked in J.P. Morgan’s Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group, focusing on the specialty finance sector. Jeffrey started his career as a co-founder, board member and the chief technology officer of GXStudios, Inc., a media and entertainment company responsible for creating multiplayer web-based games.

Jeffrey received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University.
