Abhay Laijawala

Abhay Laijawala is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head Offshore Investments at Canara Robeco Mutual Fund since December 2021. Prior to this role, Abhay held the position of Managing Director at Avendus from August 2018 to November 2021. Abhay has extensive experience in equity research, having worked as Managing Director and Head of Equity Research at Deutsche Bank from July 2008 to July 2018. Previous roles include Executive Director and Head of Asia Pacific Metals and Mining Research at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Abhay holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Rhode Island (1990 - 1992) and an M.COM in Accounting from the University of Mumbai (1988 - 1990).
