Stefano Cucchiella's work experience begins in 2011, where they worked as a Research Engineer at Mälardalens Högskola for six months. In 2012, they began working as a Software Engineer and later as a Team Lead & System Tester at DEK Technologies, where they developed telco-product features, automated processes and methodologies, and led distributed system testing teams. In 2016, Stefano became the Head of Programme at OpenInfra Days Nordics, where they built the local OpenInfra/Openstack community and was responsible for keynote and speaker selection. In 2018, they worked as a Product Owner and Team Lead & Integration Engineer at Ericsson, where they defined product features and system test frameworks in cloud environments and led a fully-distributed, system-integration team. In 2019, Stefano joined City Network Hosting AB as a Cloud Solutions Architect, where they worked closely with customers and partners, introduced technical solutions, and designed and implemented new company offerings. Finally, in 2020, they became the CTO & Co-Founder of CanaryBit, a company focusing on collaborative data analytics and cloud security research.
Stefano Cucchiella obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Mälardalen University from 2009 to 2011. Stefano also completed another Master's degree in the same field from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Scrum methodologies, including the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in September 2018 and the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in March 2015.
