Matt Ferenc, DO graduated cum laude from the University of Scranton in 1994, earning his bachelor's degree in science. He then continued his education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his medical degree in 1998. He continued his education in Miami Beach, Florida, earning his board certification in emergency medicine through the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (ACOEP) in 2002. Since 2002, he has been working at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, affiliated with NOVA Southeastern University, School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Florida International University College of Medicine (FIU). He was appointed as assistant clinical professor for NOVA and, several years later, for FIU.

Over the course of six years, Ferenc began to realize that man-made diseases were responsible for a majority of visits to the emergency room and took the initiative to learn the true causes of these diseases. He began a lifelong initiative to learn preventive medicine and age management. He earned a board certification through the American Board of Anti-Aging/ Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) in 2008. He continues to work at the Level 1 Trauma Center where he enjoys teaching students, interns, and residents, while taking care of some of the sickest patients in South Florida.
