Marlene Otero

Marlene Otero possesses extensive experience in research and development within the consumer goods sector, with a focus on family care products at Procter & Gamble since October 1997. Marlene has held several leadership roles, including R&D Senior Director and Strategy Leader for the Bounty Franchise, and has successfully managed major initiatives for franchises such as Charmin and Puffs. Responsibilities have included leading cross-functional teams, developing consumer insights, and driving innovation pipelines. Prior to Procter & Gamble, Marlene worked as a Chemical Engineer at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. Marlene holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, along with an MBA from IESA.
