Lisa Nielsen

Lisa Nielsen has over a decade of experience in research operations, currently serving as the Manager of Research Operations at Cancer Council Queensland since March 2010. In this role, Lisa oversees the management and coordination of operations at the Viertel Cancer Research Centre and external cancer research funding programs. Previous positions include Research Governance and Operations Officer, Senior Research Officer, and Manager of Prostate Cancer Research Program, emphasizing project management, budget oversight, stakeholder liaison, ethics application preparation, and clinical trial registration. Lisa's earlier roles included Research Assistant at The University of Queensland and Linkage Officer at the Department of Health (WA Health). Lisa holds a Master of Public Health from The University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Science (Pharmacology) from The University of Western Australia.
