Cancer Council Victoria
Sue Evans, GAICD, serves as the Head of the Victorian Cancer Registry Division at Cancer Council Victoria since January 2023 and has been involved with the TrueNth Global Registry project at Movember Foundation since March 2016. In addition to these roles, Sue is a member of the Executive Committee for the Australasian Association for Quality in Healthcare and heads the Clinical Registry Unit at Monash University while also coordinating the MPH 5267 Principles of Quality Improvement in Healthcare unit. Sue has held the position of Director of the Victorian Cancer Registry at Cancer Council Victoria from August 2019 to February 2023 and directs the Centre of Research Excellence in Patient Safety. Sue holds a Master of Public Health from Monash University and a Ph.D. in Adverse Events-Patient Safety from the University of Adelaide, along with a GAICD qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
