Prashanth Kini

Prashanth Kini is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and healthcare technology sectors, currently serving as a Venture Partner at CANCER FUND since July 2023. At Astute Imaging, Kini holds roles as both an Investor and Advisor, focusing on AI solutions for image-guided therapy. In addition to leadership at AcumedAI LLC as Principal, Kini is an Investor with the Biosciences Special Purpose Vehicle and Volo Ventures, and has a long-standing involvement with Oakhouse Partners in early-stage enterprise software investments. Previous experience includes advisory and executive roles at Mainstream Genomics, SAIGroup, SymphonyAI, and Ayasdi, where notable contributions involved AI-driven healthcare innovations. Prashanth Kini holds a PhD and BSEE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
