Rebecca Eccles

Rebecca Eccles is a Senior Scientific Writer at Cancer Grand Challenges since April 2024, previously serving as a Scientific Editor at Cell Press from January 2020 to March 2024. At Cell Press, Rebecca played a pivotal role in various editorial activities for Molecular Cell, including overseeing peer review, contributing to journal strategy, and co-leading special issues on metabolism and mitochondria. Prior to this, Rebecca held postdoctoral positions at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Max Delbrück Center, focusing on cancer metastasis and Rho GTPase signaling, respectively, following a PhD in the same area. Rebecca began a career in research as a Research Assistant at the University of Liverpool after completing a degree in Biology at The University of Manchester.
