Brent D. Watkins is an experienced information technology professional currently serving as the Director of Information Technology and Senior Systems Engineer at Cancer Research And Biostatistics (CRAB) since July 2014. Brent maintains extensive cloud infrastructure and oversees the management of confidential data for CRAB and its partners, including SWOG. Previous roles at CRAB include Systems Engineer and Systems Administrator II, during which Brent led key projects such as the establishment of a new data center and enhanced network security. Prior experiences include IT consulting for the Infectious Disease Research Institute, Senior Systems Administrator at KPG Psomas, and early IT support at TEKsystems. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Informatics and Health Information Management from the University of Washington and has foundational education in the liberal arts from Everett Community College and Seattle Central College.
