Yakov Young

Yakov Young is an experienced information technology professional with a strong background in healthcare IT management. Currently serving as Director of Information Technology at Texas Health Resources since August 2019, Yakov oversees IT operations and strategic planning. Prior to this role, Yakov was the Director of Clinical IT at Saint Louis University, where responsibilities included directing Epic and other clinical information systems to enhance patient care and physician satisfaction. Additionally, Yakov held the position of Assistant Director of Health Informatics Management Systems, managing electronic health records and document management systems. Earlier experience includes serving as General Manager at Renaissance Endodontics, PLLC, where Yakov managed operations, human resources, training, sales, and marketing. Yakov holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Alcorn State University and a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences from Tennessee State University.
