Karen Anderson

Karen Anderson has extensive experience in cancer research and patient recruitment spanning over four decades. Currently serving as the Recruitment and Adherence Manager for the SELECT initiative at Cancer Research And Biostatistics since January 2000, Karen designs national recruitment strategies and patient materials for 436 study sites across the United States. Previously, as the Field Manager for the Carotene and Retinol Efficacy Trial (CARET), Karen managed field staff and contributed to participant recruitment activities. Earlier roles include Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Field Representative at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Director of the Cancer Registry at Indiana University Medical Center, where significant contributions were made to clinical trials and quality assurance in cancer research.
