Akhil Anand

Akhil Anand is an experienced operations and philanthropy professional currently serving as Crick Operations Senior Manager at The Francis Crick Institute and Cancer Research UK since March 2022. In these roles, Akhil leads a team focused on enhancing collaboration between the two organizations to support the Philanthropy programme. Previous positions include Programme Specialist, where Akhil established the operational infrastructure for fundraising efforts, and Planned Giving Philanthropy Manager, responsible for high-value legacies and strategic philanthropy. Akhil's early career features roles in banking, consultancy, and various leadership positions within university clubs, complemented by a degree in International Relations and Finance from The University of Edinburgh. Additionally, Akhil serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Alec Dickson Trust, supporting volunteerism among marginalized youth.
