Gareth Mulcahy

Gareth Mulcahy has had an extensive career in event management, predominantly with Cancer Research UK. Starting in 1998 as a Race for Life organizer, they progressed through various roles to become the Head of Product for Events & Sports in 2021. Gareth'sresponsibilities included overseeing mass participation activities, developing event strategies, managing suppliers, and leading teams to deliver high-quality supporter experiences. Outside of CRUK, they took on roles like Festival Site Assistant at Ride London and Ski Resort Manager during a career break.

Gareth Mulcahy graduated with a 2.1 degree in Recreation & Leisure Management from the University of Wales in 1997. Prior to that, they attended Downend School in Bristol. Additionally, they obtained a NEBOSH General Certificate from IOSH.
