Heather Niederer

Principal Scientist At Cancer Research Horizons (cruk) at Cancer Research UK

Heather Niederer started their work experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Auckland in 2004. Heather then transitioned to an Assistant Research Fellow at the same institution in 2009. Following this, they joined Imperial College London as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2010. In 2014, they became an Investigator at GSK, specializing in BioPharm Molecular Discovery. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Scientist at Therapeutic Discovery Laboratories at Cancer Research UK (CRUK), where they will soon transition to the role of Principal Scientist at Cancer Research Horizons in 2023.

Heather Niederer obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Honours in Biology from The University of Auckland in 2004. Heather then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology at the University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2009.
