Tala Fakhouri

Tala Fakhouri currently serves as Vice President of Regulatory Consulting for AI & Digital Policy and Real-World Research at Parexel since June 2025. Previously, Tala held multiple positions at the FDA from October 2020 to July 2025, including Associate Director for Data Science and AI Policy and Associate Director for Policy Analysis. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Health Scientist, Senior Epidemiologist, and Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from July 2011 to October 2020, as well as holding the role of Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the National Center for Health Statistics. Additionally, Tala worked as Senior Manager at ICF International from May 2014 to October 2015. Education includes a Master of Public Health in Epidemiologic & Biostatistical Methods for Public Health & Clinical Research from The Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in Oncological Sciences from the University of Utah School of Medicine.
