Hitesh Thakrar is an experienced leader in the fields of science, innovation, and finance, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Cancer Research UK and as Chair of the Business and Innovation Committee at the Science and Technology Facilities Council. Hitesh is a Partner at Syncona Limited, where contributions are made to building and funding life sciences companies, and holds positions as Chair of the Health Innovation Network and Board Trustee at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity. Additional roles include being a Governance Board Member for KQ Labs at the Francis Crick Institute, a Non-Executive Director at Tropic Biosciences, and an Advisory Committee Member for UKI2S.
