Julia Jones

Julia Jones is an accomplished scientific professional with extensive experience in the biomedical and research sectors. Currently serving as Scientific Manager at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute since April 2017, Julia has held multiple roles within Cancer Research UK since January 2007, including Senior Scientific Officer. Prior experience includes a PhD CASE Award student position at Glaxo Smith Kline and summer and industrial placements at Eli Lilly and Company. Julia's career began as a Natural Products Chemist at Molecular Nature Limited and as a Laboratory Technician at the Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research and Smith's Wood School. Julia holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Southampton.
