Mel Jones

Mel Jones is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial planning and reporting across various sectors, including housing, property development, and investment banking. Currently serving as the Interim Head of Financial Planning & Reporting at Cancer Research UK since August 2021, Mel also manages projects in private property development. Previous roles include Business Partnering Consultant at Sovereign Housing Association and Interim Head of Finance Partnering at The Guinness Partnership, among others. Mel's expertise encompasses a variety of financial systems such as Qlikview, Oracle, and Hyperion. Mel holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Kingston University and has completed multiple qualifications, including A Levels in Geography, Maths, and Economics.
