Sarah Halford currently serves as the Head of Medical Sciences at Cancer Research UK and holds the position of Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology at Barts Health NHS Trust, both since October 2007. In addition, Sarah is a trustee for the Sir John Golding Fund at the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre since March 2014. Prior experience includes completing clinical training in Medical Oncology at University College of London Hospital from September 2003 to July 2007, and serving as a Translational Clinical Research Fellow at Cancer Research UK from April 1999 to August 2003. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Medicine and Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cancer Genetics from UCL, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from St George's, University of London.
