Beomjune B. Kim

As a Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Surgeon at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Atlanta, Dr. Beomjune B. Kim provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with cancer and other diseases that affect the head and neck. He is part of the team at CTCA® addressing the complex surgical needs of head and neck cancer patients, and those needing head and neck reconstruction.

Dr. Kim received a bachelor’s degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to receive a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. At the same university, Dr. Kim completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He also completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dr. Kim is an Adjunct Professor at Augusta University and has previously served as Associate Professor at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and as Director of Head and Neck/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at CTCA Tulsa. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Kim is married, and he and his wife are very active at church. Together they enjoy traveling, hiking and exploring new restaurants. Dr. Kim regularly plays tennis with friends and likes playing the piano.
