Angelique Caba

Angelique Caba, LCSW-R, serves as the Vice President of Programs and Health Equity at CancerCare since March 2008, where notable achievements include pioneering the organization's first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Health Equity statement, and integrating Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) metrics into their database. Previously held roles encompass Associate Vice President of Social Work, where a distress screening protocol was implemented, and revenue was increased by developing a psychoeducational program. As Senior Director of Social Work, a national Resource Navigation Program was launched to aid oncology clients post-pandemic, and a new client database was established to improve data management and compliance. Initial roles included various positions in school social work and child care, including providing counseling and support for children with special needs. Angelique obtained a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Lehman College.
