Rachel Sangalang Mpa

Rachel Sangalang, MPA, serves as the Associate Director of Grants Administration at CancerCare, a position held since August 2021, after previously working as a Senior Grants Administrator. Rachel has extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising, notably as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at Girl Scouts of Greater New York from September 2018 to August 2021, successfully managing a diverse portfolio that generated over $1 million annually. Earlier roles include Development and Marketing Manager at Fiver Children's Foundation, where Rachel helped secure over $2 million in funding, and Development Associate at Turn 2 Us, raising $20,000 in foundation grants. Rachel began their career with volunteer management and development internships, holding a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from SUNY Geneseo.
