Thomas Casserly

Thomas Casserly has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thomas began their career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young in Dublin, where they gained expertise in auditing multinational companies. Thomas then moved to London, where they worked as an Auditor and later as part of the Corporate Finance team, advising on buy-side and sell-side transactions.

After their time at Ernst & Young, Thomas joined British American Tobacco, where they focused on M&A and Strategy. Thomas then moved to Coca Cola, where they held a Commercial Finance role, overseeing the brand's sales and profit growth initiatives.

Thomas later joined Grafton Group plc, a building materials and retail business, where they worked in Planning and Investment Appraisal, conducting valuations and due diligence on acquisition opportunities, among other responsibilities.

Their most recent role was at C&C Group, the largest Irish publicly quoted FMCG group, where they held various positions, including Head of FP&A, Global Finance Director, Director of Revenue Management, and most recently, Commercial Director.

Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated strong financial analysis and strategic decision-making skills, with experience in industries such as Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, and Technology. Thomas is also a former Lecturer and Tutor in Accounting and Corporate Finance at Dublin City University.

Thomas Casserly began their education at Dublin City University in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from 2002 to 2005. Thomas then continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from 2005 to 2006. In 2007-2008, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland to acquire a Chartered Accounting Qualification. Following that, in 2009-2010, they enrolled in the ICAEW to pursue a Corporate Finance Qualification. Lastly, in 2010-2011, Thomas attended the Irish Tax Institute to complete a Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI) program.
