Jinze Qiu

Jinze Qiu is currently the Director of collaborative research and an Associate Fellow in R&D at Candela Medical. Prior to this, Jinze worked as a Principle Scientist at the same company. Before joining Candela Medical, Jinze held the position of Imaging Geologist at CGG, where ultrasound imaging techniques were applied to seismic imaging for oil discovery purposes. Jinze also served as a Sr Scientist at Syneron Candela, where responsibilities included laser prototype development and clinical trials in the medical aesthetic field. With a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a Master's in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin, Jinze also interned at Dermalucent for laser-based medical therapy development.
