Kevin Schomacker

Kevin Schomacker has a diverse work experience in the medical industry. Kevin started their career as an Associate Physicist in Dermatology at the Wellman Center of Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital in 1989. Kevin then worked as the Director of Research at MediSpectra from 2001 to 2005. Kevin then joined HyperMed, Inc. as the VP of Research and Clinical Development from 2005 to 2009. After that, they held the position of Director of New Applications at Candela Medical from 2009 to 2017, and currently serves as the Vice President of Research at the same company since 2018.

Kevin Schomacker has an extensive education history in the field of Chemistry. Kevin began their academic journey at Worcester State University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree. Following their undergraduate studies, Schomacker pursued a Doctoral Candidate program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 1981 and 1984. However, they did not complete this program as they transferred to Northeastern University, where they obtained their PhD in Chemical Physics from 1984 to 1987.
