Mona Qafisheh

Mona Qafisheh, MEd, CPM has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mona began their career working as a Toddler Teacher at Mulberry Childcare and Preschool from June 2001 to May 2003. Mona then joined Bright Horizons and served as a Toddler Teacher/Lead Teacher, Program Coordinator, Assistant Director, and ultimately as a Director from June 2003 to June 2012. Following that, Mona joined FIRST THINGS FIRST. as a Quality Assurance Specialist and later became a Quality Assurance Manager from June 2012 to May 2018. Most recently, they are working at Candelen, starting as the Director of Grants & Contracts from May 2018 to June 2021. Mona then progressed to Division Director, Senior Director, and currently serves as the Vice President of Grant Operations since August 2023.

Mona Qafisheh, MEd, CPM has a comprehensive education history. Mona earned their AAS in Early Childhood Education from Northampton Community College in 2010. Mona further pursued their bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Administration from Ashford University, graduating in 2012. Following that, they obtained their Master of Education (MEd) in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University in 2013. In 2016, they completed a certification as a Certified Public Manager from Arizona State University. Currently, Mona Qafisheh is pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University, expected to be completed in 2025.
