Shane Ward

In his role at Candid, Shane oversees a wide range of services. These services include the import, enhancement, and distribution of nonprofit data. Shane and his team take great pride in providing high quality nonprofit data and helping customers implement technology solutions that benefit the social sector.

Shane has been with the organization for 11+ years and prior to assuming a leadership role with Candid, he held a variety of positions including Data Engineer, Database Administrator, and Data Architect. In his time with the organization, he has helped the world’s largest search engine, online marketplace, social media platform, and CRM provider to implement charitable giving programs. Shane has a passion for developing and leading effective teams.

Shane has B.S. in Information Systems from Capella University, holds industry certifications, and served in the US Army, 3rd Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard.
