During their time at GlaxoSmithKline, Cheryl was awarded the GSK Silver Award for creating and delivering a well received 50 page book covering 300 years of GSK that was globally endorsed. Cheryl increased readership by 23% by launching an online magazine in 2015. Cheryl was also in charge of a magazine that was consistently rated as ‘highly valued’ in annual internal communications audits. Cheryl received the highest positive levels of feedback from a Reputation Institute survey in relation to quality, following the re-launch of the magazine in 2012 to increase coverage of local and regional news. Cheryl was regarded as the internal communications expert within the UK Pharma business. Lastly, Cheryl secured interviews with high profile industry figures such as former Shadow Health Secretary, Andrew Lansley, Editor in Chief of the BMJ, Fiona Godlee plus numerous senior healthcare professionals.
At Bonhill Group plc, Cheryl pioneered a series of features on NHS insights subsequently syndicated to GSK global news platforms. Additionally, Cheryl mentored top performing staff that earned frequent recognition from the business.
Cheryl Cole attended the University of the Arts London where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Multimedia Design. Cheryl also attended The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing and The Publishing & Trainging Centre, where they earned a certification in Advanced Proofreading. Additionally, Cheryl Cole has a certification from In Professional Development in Strategic Approaches to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, as well as a certification from the University of East London in the Professional Mentoring Programme.
