Heidi Garwig

Heidi Garwig is an experienced art educator with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as an Art Teacher at Canfield Local Schools since 1999, Heidi instructs students in grades 5 through 8 at Canfield Village Middle School. Previous roles include teaching Art I, II, and Ceramics at Catoctin High School for Frederick County Public Schools, MD, and holding similar positions at Katy High School in Texas, where significant contributions included developing the district's K-12 Art Scope & Sequence Guide and coordinating an annual juried student art show. Additionally, Heidi has experience as a Property Manager at Carma Developers. Heidi holds a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Youngstown State University and has pursued further education at The Ohio State University.
