Alicia Girard

Alicia Girard, MBA, serves as the Strategic Business Advisor to the CEO at Canfor since November 2021, having previously managed employee experience and change management functions, and provided strategic support to the SVP, People. Prior to Canfor, Alicia worked at Deloitte Canada as a Manager in Organization Transformation, advising clients on complex change projects across various sectors. Alicia’s experience also includes roles as a Change Analyst at lululemon and as a Change Management Analyst at The University of British Columbia, where strategic change initiatives were a focus. Additionally, Alicia volunteered as an Events Program Manager for IABC/BC and held positions in communications and recruitment early in their career. Educational achievements include an MBA from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Simon Fraser University.
