Fahad Shazad

Fahad Shazad is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field. Currently employed at Canfor since May 2019, Fahad has previously held positions as a Mechanical Reliability Engineer at Centerra Gold Inc. and as a Mechanical Engineer Co-op at both Canfor and Dominion Diamond Corporation. Notable achievements include the development of maintenance parts lists for Caterpillar excavators and Sandvik drills and the creation of a maintenance strategy for mobile equipment at a mine site. With a solid foundation gained through an EIT program at K-Electric and early roles as a Management Trainee at Matco Rice Processing and an intern at HinoPak Motors, Fahad possesses strong expertise in operations, maintenance, and production control. Fahad holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor’s degree from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
