Paul Power

Paul Power has extensive experience in technical support and audio production, currently serving as a Technical Support Engineer at Canford Audio Limited since October 2016. Prior to this role, Paul worked as a Research Technician at The University of Salford, where responsibilities included planning and organizing the collection of 3D impulse responses, involving the setup and calibration of speaker arrays. Furthermore, Paul was a Studio Demonstrator at the University of Salford from December 2010 to October 2016, tasked with teaching students about operating Protools-based recording studios and supporting lecturers during classes. Paul holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and multiple degrees from The University of Salford, an MSc in Audio Production, a BSc (Hons) in Professional Sound and Video Technology, alongside various qualifications in music technology. Additionally, Paul completed a Master’s degree in Applied Acoustics from the University of Derby in 2022.
