Daniel Ponce-Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and international education. Currently serving as the Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships Director at the Intercultural Outreach Initiative since May 2018, Daniel focuses on empowering isolated communities through sustainable growth initiatives. As a co-founder of Travolucion, Daniel has contributed to enhancing access to study abroad opportunities for Spanish speakers. Involvement with CANIE and The Forum on Education Abroad further highlights Daniel's commitment to addressing climate action and promoting sustainable development practices in education. Additionally, Daniel holds leadership positions in various organizations, including co-chairing the NAFSA Sustainability Special Interest Group and managing project development at CINDAQ A.C. Daniel’s educational background includes a Master's degree in Sustainable Resource Management and Bachelor's degrees in Oceanography with Marine Biology and Biology, equipping Daniel with a strong foundation in environmental science.
