Michael Boyd is an experienced professional in facilities management and engineering with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Facilities at Canisius College since April 2004, Michael oversees the operations of the Physical Plant and new construction projects. Additionally, as a Board Member and Procurement Committee Chairman at the Energy Cooperative of America, Michael contributes to providing low-cost power and natural gas to customers. Previously, Michael was a Partner and Manager of Commissioning Services at C.J. Brown Energy and worked as an Energy Engineer/Project Manager at Buffalo Engineering, P.C. Michael has also held leadership positions at Erie County Public Works and Erie County Medical Center, overseeing the operations and maintenance of numerous facilities. Michael's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Professional Science focused on Mechanical Engineering and Facilities Management from SUNY Empire State College, as well as a building code enforcement license from NYS Division of Building Code Enforcement.
