Raquel Peyraube

Raquel Peyraube is a distinguished professional in the field of cannabinoid medicine, currently serving as the CEO of Pharma Origins since August 2021. In addition, Raquel holds a position as a Member of the Board at the IACM, International Alliance for Cannabinoid Medicines, since September 2017, and directs the Diploma in Endocannabinology, Cannabis, and Cannabinoids at Pharma Origins in collaboration with IIBCE since July 2023. Past roles include Director of Public Policy and Health at Plena Global Holdings and President of the Uruguayan Society of Endocannabinology, both from 2017 to 2020. Raquel was also a researcher at Monitor Cannabis Uruguay, affiliated with the Social Sciences Faculty of the University of the Republic, from 2016 to 2020. Raquel holds a Doctorate in Medicine with a focus on Problematic Drug Use from Facultad de Medicina - Universidad de la República.
