Julie K. Johnson

Julie K. Johnson, PhD, serves as the Chief of Research and previously as the Director of Research at the Cannabis Control Commission since April 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from November 2016 to April 2018. Julie's work at Brandeis University spanned from November 2010 to May 2016, including NIDA F31 Fellow and Research Associate positions. Academic credentials include a PhD in Social Policy from The Heller School at Brandeis University, completed in 2015, alongside a Postdoctoral Research Traineeship in Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins (2016-2018).
