Preston Wong has a wealth of experience in the field of chemistry and toxicology. Preston began their career in 2005 as a Research Technician 2 at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. In 2006, they took on the role of Autopsy Technician at Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences - Dallas County. In 2008, they were an Toxicology Intern at San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. From 2009 to 2016, they were a Senior Toxicologist / LC-MS/MS Operator / Certifying Scientist at Abbott Diagnostics Business. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Senior Toxicologist / LC-MS/MS Operator / Certifying Scientist at Origen Laboratories. Preston Wong obtained a Master's degree in Forensic Science (Toxicology) from Sam Houston State University between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2002 and 2005. In October 2020, they obtained the Toxicological Technologist certification from the National Registry of Certified Chemists (NRCC). In December 2020, they obtained the Clinical Toxicologist Scientist certification from the California Department of Public Health.
