Chuck spent 17 years at American Express and built 10 divisional offices in seven states, working with over 1,000 advisors and staff. At every level and location, performance and results were in the top 5% nationally under his leadership. In 1997, American Express lost over 200 advisors in its most profitable market. American Express senior leadership entrusted Chuck with the largest and most visible rebuilding process in their history. Echoing his past leadership successes, Chuck took the troubled region from last to among the top five in the country within two years.

He has provided leadership and direction for Fortune 500 clients in the areas of financial services, real estate, technology, banking, and other service businesses. As an experienced turn-around expert, Chuck has served as an “executive-for-hire” for firms in need of crisis leadership. He has also done extensive consulting with privately held firms. His clients have included: American Express, M&I Bank, Ameriprise Financial Services, Comerica Bank, Charles Schwab, and the Financial Planning Association.

Chuck holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University as well as Advanced Management degrees from the Harvard Business School and the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has also been a certified financial planner for over 20 years. He and his family reside in Vail, Colorado.
