Barrett Newell

Barrett Newell is a seasoned lighting designer currently serving as a Senior Associate Lighting Designer at CannonDesign since September 2017. With a robust background, previous experience includes roles as Senior Lighting Designer at HLB Lighting Design from September 2011 to August 2017, and Junior Lighting Designer at Robert Newell Lighting Design for a brief period in mid-2011. Early career experiences involved architectural internships at Koetter Kim & Associates, WLA Engineering, and Arquitectonica, as well as model-making at Kyu Sung Woo Architects. Barrett Newell holds both a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Northeastern University, completing the master's degree in 2011 after the undergraduate program concluded in 2010.
