Communication Strategy And Media Relations at CannonDesign

Christopher Whitcomb has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Christopher started their career as a News and Sports Department Intern at the Olean Times Herald in 2004. Christopher then worked as a Freelance Writer at PGATour.com from August 2006 to December 2006. From June 2006 to August 2007, they worked in Tournament Operations at the PGA of America. In 2007, they joined Delaware North Companies as a Communications Specialist, where they were responsible for writing press releases, representing the company at industry events, and developing internal communications publications. Christopher worked there until December 2009. In December 2009, they joined CannonDesign as a Communication Strategy and Media Relations professional. In this role, they executed media outreach campaigns, wrote articles for senior leaders, and secured speaker placements at high-profile events. Christopher is also a member of CannonDesign's NEXT Council, an emerging leadership development program. In February 2023, they became a Buffalo Niagara YMCA Community Board Member at YMCA Buffalo Niagara.

Christopher Whitcomb completed their formal education with a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Finance from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Christopher completed their high school education at Salamanca High School from 1999 to 2003, where they were recognized as the Salutatorian. The field of study for their high school education is not specified.
