Jeff Seger

Jeff Seger, PE, is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the design of HVAC and gas/vacuum systems, particularly in the healthcare and science and technology sectors. Currently employed at CannonDesign since May 2021, Jeff previously worked at SmithGroup from October 2016 to May 2021, focusing on similar system designs. Prior experience includes a role at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP from August 2013 to October 2016, where Jeff designed HVAC and Life Safety systems for high-rise and large-scale projects globally. At M.E. GROUP (June 2010 - July 2013), Jeff acted as a Mechanical Engineer and Commissioning Agent, providing design and LEED consulting services. Jeff began the career at the University of Kansas Design and Construction Management as an AutoCAD Technician (September 2007 - May 2010) and had an internship as a Field Engineer at American Constructors during the summer of 2009. Jeff holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering from The University of Kansas.
