Joyma Hernandez, CLSSBB, has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Joyma started their career in 2009 at the Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud de las Américas (ICSA USMLE)) as an Accountant, where they were responsible for accounting processes, systems, and accounts payable.

In 2011, they joined MobiGames Dominicana as the Supervisor of the Operations Department and Call Center, overseeing the day-to-day operations and customer service.

In 2012, Joyma worked at Ferorganic as an Accountant, managing accounting processes, systems, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Superintendencia de Seguros as the person responsible for the Payroll Department, where they handled the monthly payroll, holiday payroll, and payroll for contracted employees.

In 2018, they joined Cano Health as a Senior Process Excellence Analyst, conducting research, investigating workflows, and recommending changes to improve productivity and revenue.

Currently, Joyma is the Director of Operational Excellence at Cano Health, where they lead initiatives to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.

Joyma Hernandez, CLSSBB, has a comprehensive education history that includes various qualifications in the field of accounting, finance, and Six Sigma methodology. In 2000, Hernandez attended the Instituto Tecnológico Antonio Guiteras Holmes, where they obtained a Técnico Medio degree in Contabilidad y Finanzas, which lasted until 2004. Following this, they pursued higher education at the Universidad de La Habana from 2004 to 2008, specializing in Contabilidad y Finanzas, but without earning a specific degree. In 2020, Hernandez enrolled at the Six Sigma Global Institute, where they completed a Six Sigma Green Belt Professional (CSSGB) certification. Furthermore, in the same year, they pursued an advanced level of certification, obtaining the Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from the same institution.
