Nicolas Chaulet

Nicolas Chaulet has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2008, they worked as a Junior Consultant at O2 France, where they developed an Access database for CO2 emissions analysis. From 2009 to 2012, they were a PhD Candidate at Inria, conducting research on the propagation of electromagnetic waves in imaging science. Nicolas then joined University College London as a Research Associate from 2013 to 2014, where they worked on developing algorithms for brain imaging systems. Starting in 2014, Nicolas worked at BuroHappold Engineering as a Senior Computational Analyst & Software Developer. There, they were responsible for software development strategy within the SmartSpace team and worked on projects such as SmartMove, SmartForm, and SmartBuildingAnalyser. In 2018, Nicolas co-founded HELIX RE, Inc. and served as the Director of Applied R&D. Nicolas'sresponsibilities included leading applied research and development efforts until 2020. In the same year, they founded Principia Labs Ltd and currently holds the position of Founder. Since 2020, Nicolas has been the CTO at The Canoa Supply Co. PBC, where they oversee the development of design templates and shopping tools for workplace teams navigating the transition to hybrid models.

Nicolas Chaulet completed their education in a chronological order. From 2006 to 2009, they attended ENSTA-Paristech and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematical Engineering. During this time, they also studied Mathematics at Pierre and Marie Curie University, obtaining another Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in 2009. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from 2009 to 2012 at École Polytechnique.
