Fabrice Derepas

Fabrice Derepas is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as the Engineering Director for Embedded Systems at Canonical since January 2025, Fabrice previously held the position of Chief Evangelist at TrustInSoft from November 2012 to December 2024, where the focus was on applying formal methods to improve software reliability across various devices. Prior to this, Fabrice co-founded and served as CEO of TrustInSoft, successfully raising significant venture capital. Fabrice also has a strong background in strategy and program management, with previous roles at the Commissariat à l'Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives, including Director of Programs and Strategy and Department Head for Software and System Design. Fabrice's education includes a Master of Science and a PhD in Computer Science from École Polytechnique and Université Paris Cité, respectively, complemented by executive education at HEC Paris.
